Based in Ferndale, Johannesburg, 42nd Precinct Security offers security solutions in and around Gauteng. Our main clients consist of various schools, shopping centres, townhouse and building complexes, as well as buildings and office blocks. We provide security solutions in many forms, ranging from response officers to intrusion detection systems that can be remotely managed using a mobile app.

At 42nd Precinct Security we pride ourselves on the three decades of quality pro-active services we offer to all our clients.

This includes not only the service but the personal involvement of every member of our Management Team at each of the sites we manage for you, on your behalf.

We offer guarding, solar, and electronic security solutions, and any other security related requirements you may have, such as fencing, welding etc...

We further offer monthly or weekly maintenance programmes on all electronic equipment whether new or pre-existing installations.

Brief History
  1. Founded in 1992, as Max Security & Residential Patrols.
  2. Due to increasing demand, the company evolved to offer permanent and temporary on-site security officers.
  3. Continued expansion of both the response and guard’s divisions, including close liaison and involvement with all local crime prevention bodies, allowed the company to become the dominant Security Service in the area.
  4. By early 1997 the company was very well established and had already earned an extremely good reputation amongst the community who knew they could rely on Max Security to provide an efficient and reliable service.
  5. In 2002 a name change was applied for and 42nd Precinct Security was born. All clients accepted and embraced the name change and continued to be valuable customers of this company.
  6. The ownership of the company changed March 2004.The company is wholly owned by Allan Millard (MBA), who is the incumbent Managing Director, and has been at the helm ever since.
  7. In 2005, the Electronics Solutions Division was established, to to satisfy the ever-growing need of Intrusion Detection Systems in households and enterprise buildings.
